Overview:
In collaboration with fiber artist and natural dyer Laura Berkowitz Gilbert of Tocco Studio, discover the magic of fresh indigo. Dye your own silk bandanna with a beautiful range of aqua to turquoise hues from indigo leaves harvested at the farm, complementing the deep blue of an indigo vat. Learn Tatakizome, the Japanese leaf pounding technique, using foraged flowers and leaves to design a cotton tote. Immerse yourself in the farm as we harvest indigo, forage for botanicals, and enjoy a delicious farm-to-table lunch.

What You Will Learn:
- How to work with fresh indigo leaves, without the fermentation process to achieve beautiful color
- How to use botanicals to design your own textiles
- How to forage for natural plant materials responsibly
